I know somebody knows what this is.
It happened for a few seconds a couple days go but yesterday it completely died.
I had to floor it and I would get no response from the engine then all of a sudden it would rev full throttle because the pedal was to the floor. It could not idle at all it would just die. So I would drive it to 45-55mph on the street then put in the clutch and just rev it full throttle to get it to respond. As soon as it would redline i'd let go of the gas and it would immediately drop back to idle for a split second then die. I had to put-put my way to the shop where they aren't gonna look at it til Friday.
Is it worth getting it fixed? What's the problem do you think? Should I even bother to put another dime in it to fix this? They gonna charge me $150 just to look at it.
Note that the car starts up fine. At the red lights I'd let the car die and as soon as it turned green i would start it up and give it full throttle before releasing the clutch to grab so I can get it moving.
