Main relay and Fuel pump relay purchasing questions.

I have been searching on here and on bimmerforums for a while and i have come up with more questions than answers on how to purchase relays....

On pelican there are a number of "universal" relays but none of them list the m20 engine as a match...

on Tuners website there was only one or 2 relays that were available for purchase and it also stated that the relay (4 prong) had a number of uses but still was more vauge than anything simply stating that it could be used in the e30....

i did find this link in a thread..

Probably vague info because you typically don't buy relays by engine/application, you buy them by configuration - they're all kinda sorta universal.

As long as the amperage rating and the prong setup is the same you're good to go. The other important thing to know is which circuit is normally open and which is normally closed. Hard to tell from the diagram printed on the side of that particular relay in the picture.

Most parts stores will have the relay you need. Either that or go on ebay, it's like $10 for a pack of 5 relays. It's what I used anyway.

I use http://www.rmeuropean.com/Part-Numbe..._E095124A.aspx for the main, fuel, and O2 heater relays. The main relay must be a 5-pin. The others car be the 5-pin or stock 4-pin types.
The car makes it possible, but the driver makes it happen.
