    Anyone removed rust off there tools?

    i tried a search and if i missed the thred then link me.

    But yea, im afraid to take a dremil to them cause i dont know if there painted silver it what...

    Also, the screw for the battery holder and then plate and nut for the spare tire have cancer too, anyone know how to get that off and keep the goldish finish?

    If you soak them in the Rust Remover from Griot's I know that stuff works great. You are local too so all you gotta do is cross the bridge and pick some up in Fife.

        You won't be able to keep the gold finish. Where there is rust, there is no more gold finish; that's why it started to rust. It is probably a yellow chromate finish on steel.

        While you're at Griots, you should buy the $100 "Cadillac of Creepers" so darkwing can get mad commission.
