removing exhaust heat sheild??

I need to take the exhaust heat shield off my car that's bolted to the passenger side floor pan. I need to take it off so I can fix the rust but I cant tell how it removes.

bunch of small screws. 1/4 or 5/16 heads. most of the heat shields here are so corroded that the screws are barely holding them on.

where are the screw located at cause when I look at mine all i see is the wrong end of the screws (from under car)

Those are studs that are pressed into the sheetmetal. There should be black plastic pushnuts on them to hold the insulation on.
