    How to tow?

Buying my first e30 325i on saturday

guy live about 130 miles away from me im in los angeles and hes in san diego

    its a 4 door automatic

i dont know if i should get tow dolly and lift the front and have the rear on the ground and put the car in neutral or get the trailer where all 4 wheels are on the trailer.

my plan is to swap it too an 5 speed so if the rear wheels on the ground damage the tranny im not too worried, but i am worried it might damage something else

You can use a tow dolly, just make sure to unbolt the driveshaft from the diff. It'll take 10 minutes and you won't have to worry about something overheating and seizing up during the tow.

The trailer from UHaul is only like $10 more than the tow dolly. Just do it.
