    aftermarket suspension

Hey, I bought an '87 325is not to long ago and have been loving every minute of it. However, I also love corners. I have been thinking about investing in some springs and strut braces to eliminate some that damn body role.

Does anyone have any company experiences / preferences as far as their products and quality? Thanks for the input

EDIT: Since I have felt the hate from this board before because I ask newb questions I figured it only neccessary to drop the search smiley. Sorry guys!

But I will give my opinion anyways.

I have H&R Sport with Bilstien Sport. Not a bad set-up. I would have like something a little lower and stiffer, but I should not be complaining. Obviously as stated many times, many times, on every board the safest choices are H&R Sport or Eibach Pro-Kit Spings, with Bilstien Sports or Koni shocks.

Of course you can also go the coilover route from GroundControl. This is more expensive, but I if you can come up with the money it is the best option.

As for strut braces and stiffer sway bars, there is some controversy. Strut braces make sense, however, there effects are more noticable in less stiff cars like the convertible. In your case I would not go with the strut brace and spend that towards coilovers! Sway bars are another option. Once you get your suspension and you think there is still to much bodyroll than you can get stiffer swaybars. That way you can still have a decent ride comfort level, and have a stiffer car when it is needed.

Ok, just my opinion. Sorry for being so rude.

Dont get Bav Auto springs. The are very soft (spring rates).

I have H&R sport springs.. and they are great. Other popular ones are Eibachs and Bavautos.
I think most everybody here has opted for bilstein shocks, they are pretty much the best.

Putting performance springs and new shocks on my car was by FAR the best thing I've ever done to it.
It handles like a completely different car. You won't regret spending the money!

                          Have fun with it.

If you looking for somthing a bit stiffer, you can go with H&R Race springs, Or the Irealand Engineering Stage III race springs, NICE and stiff. I opted for bilsteins but will swap to Koni adjustables because the bilsteins dont have what it takes for these.
