Can I open an electric sunroof manually?

Trying to remove the headliner from a Spec E30 racer I'm working on for another guy. At this point, the interior is fully removed except the headliner, engine/trans are out. The car is pretty much gutted.

Unfortunately, it didn't cross my mind when I still had power to the sunroof that I should open it and remove the headliner first.

There must be a way to open it manually?

    Any thoughts? Thanks.

Use an Allen wrench on the hole in the motor to crank it open manually

There's a little crank that comes with the car for that. If you don't have that, you can use a correct size Allen key that in the center of the large nut.

Correct size key on an air/electric ratchet make it much easier.

Perfect thanks guys. I thought there was a good chance that would do the trick but didn't want to damage anything.
