so my spedo crapped out

    so my spedo crapped out

    driving along, it dropped dead to zero, whacked dash, no luck, it's dark outside so i can't really check anything else..... any idea...

    Check the grounds behind the cluster, and the speed sensor in the differential.

    It could be something else, but those two areas are a good place to start.

      Check the connector on the back of the differential, that is where the speedometer pickup is located at.

        if is was either of those, wouldn't it die, then come back die then come back, mine just went dead, and that was it.... a loose ground seems like would be likely to come and go, not just dead, it's possible thou, i'll check er out, is the spedo on it's own fuse, or is it shared.....

        i don't have a manual, and my bently is MIA
