Warm up idle is high, standard idle revs back and fourth

Title is self explanatory. My warm up idle is at around 1500 rpm, and then once the thermo opens, the motor revs up and down between 2000, and 800 RPMs. Car has a new ICV, and no vac leaks (detected so far). Anyone else have a fix to this issue before I have to replace the ECU?

These symptoms are either bad icv or vacuum
Did you recently change the icv?

Intake leaks most likely. Have a shop run a smoke test to check for them. Also check the operation (electrically at the DME connector) of the idle switch in the TPS.
The car makes it possible, but the driver makes it happen.

If you confirm no vac leaks and the ICV is working then scuff up the contacts on your main relay with sand paper. If nothing then swap your ECU.

I believe loss of compression will also cause this. So if you have the ability, do a wet/dry compression test as well. good luck.
