keyless entry question.

none of my power door locks work, every once and while i'll hear the motor working but nothing works.
if i got a keyless entry kit, would everything work again?
or would i still be screwed?

You need to find out why they are not working - keyless entry simply operates the relay which triggers the door-lock solenoids. In other words whatever is stopping them from working now will still stop it form working.

There are write-ups on the web for diagnosis of central locking problems.

ok thanks...damn...this is going to be a bitch. i found a few cut a soldered wires on the driver door hole where it connects back to the car.
