    Cluster Issues

my fuel gauge & temp gauge are not functional..

i replaced the SI batteries, & temp sensor. No luck..

I just swapped out the cluster entirely and still no luck.. The temp gauge pegs to full hot with the ignition on, then it dives back to cold once the car starts then it does not move..

ive heard this could be a grounding problem but where do I look for that??

    thanks!

If you tried a different cluster and it did the same thing, it's not a problem with the cluster. I would be checking the wiring at the sensors and the actual sensors/sender it self.

all seems fine.. are there crucial electrical connections under the dash I should be looking for? the previous owner did a bunch of after market BS sound system changes...wondering if they snipped one or two wires
