    Tranny seal replacement

How do i change the input/output tranny seals? do i need any special tools?

I wouldn't fool with the input seal unless it's leaking. Major pain+possibility of damaging the seal housing.

The output seal requires a thin wall 32mm (I think) socket to fit inside the flange to remove the big nut then pull the flange to get to the seal. Bentley has a good procedure for this.

Don't forget the selector shaft seal, too.

    Good luck.

30mm thin wall deep socket, kinda hard to find
I second the selector shaft seal.

It's cheaper to buy an 30mm impact deepwell socket and grind it down until it fits.

That is precisely what I did except for the "impact" part. Non impact takes less time to grind!

I tried that and it cracked.

I believed i ended up forcing a socket on with a hammer :D

            It worked, lol
