Trunk Lock quit working

I have been using my trunk to lock and unlock my 89 IX for quite awhile. It quit working. My door locks have been lubed but I dont trust them. I was worried my key would break off. What are my options at this point?

Fix the trunk lock. I actually had my key brake off in the trunk lock, and that was a nightmare.

Replacing the Trunk actuator is a 20 minute fix. There's a cylinder repair kit for both the drivers and trunk lock too.

Thanks , I park it at a park and ride during the day. I need a locked trunk.
