    Mystery plug

I wasnt sure where to post this, so here it is. I noticed this guy next to my fuse box... I don't know where it goes! Can anyone help?
    It's got a brown wire and a brown/green wire.

THEN.... I find this: One red wire, one green wire.... taped off at the top. not spliced, just taped off. Any ideas?

The two wire connector is common to all e30s. Some have speculated that it would be used for a factory installed alarm system.
The red and green wires were connected to the auxiliary fuse box. Red is hot at all times, green is hot with ignition in run. What it should look like:

It's not a problem, if you want to add accessories that would need a power supply then this where you tap in. You could always add an inline fuse. For the time being just make sure the wire ends are well insulated to prevent a short.
