Scrubbed it like crazy & put fans everywhere. It dried very nicely over night. Looks like it was just a spill and not a leak thankfully. Thanks for the help guys.

Yea JD idk how to remove it without removing all that other stuff. It looks like it's right on there.

For the door sills do you just slide them backwards out?

How are you taking the carpet out without cutting? The heater box sits on top of it and you usually have to slice it on one side to be able to pull it through. Are you sure a previous owner hasn't cut yours?

Pressure washing the carpet really does wonders for it. Those who say it ruins it have either never done it or did it to a carpet that was already falling apart. Just don't expect it to dry over night.

    Update.

I managed to lift the carpet up halfway after removing it from under the door sills and it doesn't look to be too serious. There isn't any water underneath the front foot area, the foam underneath that looks clean.

The only damp and dirty spot would be the footwell behind the front seats. Looks like the water/liquid was just soaked into the foam In that area because the rest Infront of that spot looks dry.

Again like I said I will be hosing the car in every corner tomorrow to make sure nothing leaks inside.

As for the carpet, I don't think I will be completely removing it anymore since it doesn't look to easy without having to cut it. Looks like the heater core, ac box, and dash all have to be removed if I want to pull out the carpet without damaging it. It sits right on top of the carpet and I have no clue how it'll just come right out. I'll keep it in and clean it really thoroughly. Hopefully I'm not skipping over a bigger issue. I guess only time will tell.

Looks like no one is with me on the chances that there was a soda or drink spillage in the back seats area but the more I look for how serious it is and for leaks, the more I'm leaning to that possibility.

The only next mysterious issue is that the car has been stripped of rear seats and left with the doors open for more than a day but the rear bottom seat area still looks damp. It doesn't have any gas/fuel smell so I don't think it can be that.

I will post up more pictures later on.

    Like always, thank you guys!

I'm currently working on removing the carpet. Removing the door sills right now oh man those little things are in there tight. I already broke a small corner.

I did pull out the carpet underneath the door sills for now but of course I'm going to have to remove them to put the carpet back in.

Planning to completely remove the carpet and water the car tomorrow and see if anything leaks in.

I check around and inside the truck. No rust anywhere and no strange holes.

Also don't jump the gun on the heater core yet. Try to pinpoint the leak once you have all of the interior stripped out. Have someone run a hose on various parts of the car while you look around inside. You might need to remove trunk lining to help you spot a trunk leak if that's the case

Yea carpet removal was straight forward. Remove seats. Slide off / unclip door sills. Remove e brake boot and center section (2 screws), remove kick panels, removed gas pedal c clip and pin to release gas pedal and remove screw from bottom seat belt bracket. From there should be fairly easy to remove. No cutting required! Text questions my way... 303 915 9648

I paid $80 for cleaning but think I overpaid a bit, plus they did 4 extra mats. Just the carpet should be 50-60 tops!

Good luck! Any luck finding the leak?

Jd did you remove the carpet on your own?

I'm currently working on it and still have to remove the door sills, petals, and I guess the heater core from what I've been reading so far.

Your carpet looks like it wasn't cut. If you did it on your own, would you happen to have any advice/ or DIY links

Also, how much was it for you to get it professional cleaned/sanitized.

    Thanks
