    Shift linkage

    The shift linkage I believe it's called slipped out of its housing about 5 times in the last 3 days. How can I stop if from slipping. I was going to tape it but that's not the best idea

          youre missing the C clip that holds it in place. go to any hardware store and buy one to fit. it slips over the notch in the end.

                  You really need to rebuild your shifter. Can't even imagine how much slop you have.
