So my temp guage goes a little haywire on me sometimes while im driving. Itll slowly creep up to almost the red but immediately shoot back down to normal temperature. Sometimes itll be stuck midway inbetween 1/2 and 2/3 and bump back down. Fluctuates as I drive around. Any ideas? Is it just a shoddy connection on the back of the cluster? Maybe my temp sensor is bad? Im pretty stumped as usually the guage just dies doesnt it?

mine was bouncing all over the place when it went bad. Replaced it with another unit and it did fine. I have an extra one back at home (I'll be back next weekend).
Try removing your cluster, taking it apart, and checking the contacts with the gauge and the cluster. Make sure the nut that holds it in is nice and tight as well. If none of this works, shoot me a pm and I'll send you one out. -

My temp gauge went crazy, it just kept on bouncing around, so I took out the cluster, checked the connections, put a little solder on them and it fixed it right up.
Try that.
