    Accelerator peddle stopped working

Hey I have an 85 318i, while I was driving my accelerator peddle just cut out and won't work, I can rev the engine manually but yeah, I'm thinking it's the throttle sensor? Please help

    "m10 e30 you say?"
    "yep"
"And it wont go when you push the peDDLe you say?
    "yep"
"Nothin' wrong, they all do that"

    ;)

And no, there's no sensor in the throttle that would do that, it's mechanical. Open your hood, stand next to your driver's side with the open door, reach in with your foot, and see if pressing the peddle makes the throttle open and close.

Lol, yeah it was just the throttle cable linkage broke off, pushed her to the side of the road, duct taped the linkage and the cable back on and kept going. Viva la M10
