Engine: 1989 E32 735i with Motronic 1.3
Car: 1988 E30 325 Supereta with Motronic 1.1
I tried doing the wiring with the M30 engine harness and trying to adapt it to the E30 wiring, but since it came from an automatic car, the ECU is adapted for the automatic transmission, and there is alot of shit to bypass and change...
If I use the M20 325 engine wiring harness instead (which has a motronic 1.1 ECU),
Will it be compatible?
Will it not be enough fuel because the ECU is from a 2.7L engine instead?
Can I just hook up my M30 ECU after all is said and done?
What will change?
How can it be chipped then?
Does the ECU have to match the car? or the engine? or both?
