    Stupid Kopi Wheel Question...

Just got my Kopis via FedEx today! They look great - now I'm just waiting on the rubber to arrive early next week.

My stupid question is how do I safely remove the center caps without marring the finish? There was a small wrench included - just want to make sure I use it right, as the centers seem to be a very tight fit and I don't want to force them wrong.

    Thanks,
    Aaron

To remove the caps push from the inside with a long socket, then don't put the caps back on until the tires are mounted and everything is perfect. Drive it around, get it up to speed and make sure there isn't any shimmy etc. Once you know there isn't any problems, and you won't have to remove the rim again, go ahead an put on the cap. Take note of the notch on the rim that aligns with the little bump on the cap. If it's not aligned perfect the cap won't fit right. Eventually you will have to remove the cap, don't use the crappy tool that was provided. Get a old medium sized flat head and bend it in a vice so that you have more metal to slide behind the cap and so that the tool won't pop out damaging the cap. Each time you remove the cap you risk damaging the finsh so be careful. I go as far as to put masking tape on the rim and cap just in case...
