    bypass starter?

    So I picked up an 87 325is a few days ago the starter is out to drive it home we just pushedit and pop started it from second my question is is there an easier way to start it until iIget a new starter?

    There's a hand crank in the tool kit in the trunk. No, I'm not serious. I mean really? An easier way to start the car without a starter?

          Other than push starting it there is really no easier way other than with a key obviously...but your starter has to be functioning.

          Change your starter and you will be all good. Starters on E30s are a BEAR to do, it's not a 30 minute job.
