In the interest of gussying up my bay I had a few thing powder coated (intake, valve cover, pulleys, timing cover, ect). Now with everything back together I do not get power to pin 85 on the fuel pump relay. Can jump 30-87 and it fires right up. I also could not verify spark at the plugs.
This is what leads me to believe that either a previously working cps is dead or that the toothed crank pulley needs the powder taken off the tops of the teeth. I figured since its a magnetic process that it wouldn't effect anything...but i've been wrong plenty before.
New cps will be ordered but what else could cause the fuel pump relay control on the ecu to not generate signal to the fuel pump relay?
