Can an '89 model use a '90 AC evaporator? They cost a lot less

I'm overhauling my AC system, part of which is replacing the evaporator.

Is there any reason I can't use this model: $76.95

Instead of this model: ~$140 ($120ish if you can find it without the expansion valve)

Looks like there are a couple physical differences, but are the actual airboxes any different? I'm replacing all hoses as well so if thats a compatability issue i can just get new style lines.

Edit - just called FCP and looked up the part on Omega. the 89 CAN use the Omega part - so there you go

Edit again. The part arrived and the newer version is slightly smaller and the hole for the temperature sensor is in a different spot. I modified mine so that it works by drilling a new hole for the temp sensor and adding some padding to give it a snug fit, but be advised it isn't plug and play.
