Wierd Choppy Vibration Whilst Turning Hard

Right now if I take a right turn and accelerate through it, about mid-way through the turn the left rear of the car starts to jitter as if it is skipping instead of just sliding or something. This doesn't happen if I am not accelerating in a turn. It sometimes happens on left turns as well, but it is harder to do, i.e. requires more acceleration/speed around the corner. And the noise will still be from the same side.

Thanks in advance for any help!

It sounds like your rear-left shock is dead. With the car stationary, push down on that corner and see how many times it oscillates. If more than once, replace rear shocks.
This is your M20 on steroids:

On the right side, when I pushed down it came up, then went down a little then came to a rest. Is that more than once? The other side (left/drivers) comes up and then to rest.

Check your rear shock mounts, too.

check the torque on your wheel bolts.

          no. seriously.

          I didn't, and I lost a wheel

Like others have said, it could be a blown shock or a bad rear shock mount... most likely the latter.

Already checked wheel torque, and I just replaced the rear shock mounts a year ago..~12,000 miles.

              Any other ideas?

Check your sway bar links, make sure that they are good / conected. My buddies rear driver side sway bar link has a tendency to come disconected, when this happens the rear end won't slide out, it just kinda skips / bounces.

Yeah... I'm his buddy and I can vouch for that.. since the fucker became disconnected again all it does is vibrate like a bitch when I try to make the rear end break loose.
