    Stiff throttle pedal.

Since owning my car in March. The throttle pedal is rediculously stiff. My leg and foot are used to it. But it doesn't feel fluid. Any thoughts to make the pedal feel normal?

Maybe something's binding up? Try lubing the pedal linkage + throttle linkage up. If that doesn't work then a new cable'll probably set you straight

^ What he said. I replaced my throttle cable and the difference is night and day.

I think they are only $25 or so new, but lubing them will give the same effect usually. Try that first. Use a light oil like 3-in-1 or tri-flow.

I'm not sure if it the case in the LHD models but in the RHD cars the cable runs from the throttle body to the firewall & if not tied up, will rest on the edge of the tappet cover which heats it up & from there the cable starts to disintergrate.

I replaced mine & now it as light as it should be
