m42 upper oil pan emergency help!

How the f* to you break the pan loose from the tranny, any tricks the front has like an inch of play and I rock the pan back and forth trying to get it off, I'm afraid I'll break the damn thing, 99% sure all the bolts are off, took the bottom 4 bolts off the tranny, what Iam I missin' here, please help need to drive this car tommorrow, thanks.

Put in the Z3 shifter while waiting, still need assistance on the pan, please help!

I can see gaps all the way around the pan but it won't come off!, UGh! what I'm I doing wrong.

There are bolts that hold the pan to the tranny, size torx-10.

done it wasn't the torx fuckin me up it was the bolts between the engine and tranny.

Done thank god, now I can continue my march to 300k.
