    right turn signal not working

Hey I really need some help trying to find out what's the problem with turn signal. so my left blinker works fine every time I turn but when I go to my right side blinker no light turns on just blinks a faster beat then normal no lights or anything...and I been looking around fourms but cant seem to find the right answer I checked the bulbs and everything and I know the bulbs work because when I turn on the hazard lights they work perfect its just the right blinker that's acting funny. could that's be the relay? because if it was a ground it wouldn't even turn on with the hazards..correct me if im wrong. but really trying to get this working

I had a similar issue, and messed w/ the bulb holder socket & the little pins in it to make sure the bulb was snug in there. I even did some bulb swapping from my front turn signals to my rear taillights.....and miraculously they worked fine. Also make sure u have the right filament bulbs in there.

I solved the exact same issue you're having by replacing the turn signal switch.

Start by making sure the grounds are good and that you're using good quality, nickel based bulbs in a corrosion free socket - but if that stuff checks out and the hazards work normally, try the switch.

thanks man that's the only thing I haven't checked but where is it located or is it the whole assembly of the turn signal??? or just a small connector to it

Its the whole turn signal switch assembly. You need to remove the steering wheel (22mm socket) and the plastic shrouds arouind the steering column to change it.

Relay is fine. Same relay provides current to the Left and Right turn signals. Since there is an increased audible noise from the relay when the Right turn signal is activated. Sounds like an open in the wiring path to the right turn signal bulb.

Hazard lights use a different path. If you need the ETK let me know and I shall dig up a reference to the wiring for your e30.
