Gas Smell.... ideas?

I get a very strong gas smell when I first start up the car. I can roll down the windows and the smell will dissappear until I start up the car again. What could this be?

Check your fuel lines...they are over 20 yrs old.

Ok I only smell the gas when I turn on my heat or ac. So does that mean it's coming from my the front of my car? What could that be?

Best thing to do is grab a bright flashlight and look at all of your fuel lines, even remove your bottom rear seat cushion and remove the trap door.

Check your fuel lines...they are over 20 yrs old.

You might have to open the hood or put the car the car on stands and get under it it. Check your fuel lines.
Follow the fuel line from the tank to the engine and the return line from the engine back to the tank. Find the leak and fix it.
There's only so much that can be done online.
