The other day when I was in a parking lot. I made a U-turn and my steering wheel locked up, but only going one way
Ex. I made one full loop CCW, then tried to go back CW, but it "locked up" going that way, BUT I was able to continue going CCW until I was at full lock.
After going full lock, I needed to get out of the way and with a bit of force, was able to break the lock and turn CW again.
I managed to carefully drive back home, but whenever I turned the steering wheel a bit, I'd feel a bit of a "springy" tug on it.
At first I thought it was the steering lock, but then why would it only lock going CW and allow me to go CCW?
I was gonna take off my steering wheel to see, but wanted some input first on anything else it might be before I waste time doing all that.
What do you guys think?
