    Fuel Filter Question.......

    I will be changing out my fuel filter this week. A question just hit me. With the new technology dedicated to gasoline formulas, do we still need fuel fiters in e30s? I can understand why back when the car was first developed, but what about now

    Do race cars use gas filters?

    Anybody running their cars without fuel firters?

    Pros??? Cons????

      Keep it. Our old cars need them in case of gunk/sediment in your 20+ year old tank

              ??????????? Doesnt the fuel pump have a built in filter. Not that I dont trust your advice. Just another question that popped in my head.

                  What will you gain from NOT having a filter?

                  That fuel that is so clean is still transferred numerous times from tanks to fuel trucks back to tanks. Contaminants are still possible and do remain.
