so my locks have been messed up for a while, but now somone else moved my car and double locked the car, which makes the key get stuck in the lock (really stuck, not a little stuck, like you need to use visegrips and push off the car to get it out stuck) and since it got double locked, its now stuck in double lock mode on the drivers side. this means i cant use the key hole, central locking doesnt work from the passenger side and i cant ever lock the drivers side. this car is a four door. im talking about the front doors only. the rears also dont work with the central locking anymore. im guessing central locking becomes disabled when the drivers side door is double locked. but i dont know what to do. any suggestions on fixing it?

if you can get the door open, then go about moving the power door lock accutator so u can pull it down and remove it from double lock mode, and you should be good, now if u can't rotate the lock cylinder with the key thats another problem which would warrent replacing or rebuilding of the cylinder.

This happened to me a few months back.
Yes, in double lock everything is disabled. To get in, turn the driver's side key as far up as it will go, which will most likely be 45 degrees. Leave it there, it should stay (somewhat). Then take another key, and use the trunk lock, the car should unlock. In my case only the passenger side did, so I'd go to the passenger side, open the drivers side from the inside, then pull the driver's key out with the door open. Depending on how screwed everything is, you should be able to still get out of the car from the driver's door, as it won't 100% relock after the key's been pulled out. Otherwise, limber up, cause you're crawling out of the window, big guy.
I did this for a week before I could get into a garage. Big PITA.
Good news though, its fixable without buying parts, even though I spent money on used locks. Pull the door panel, reach in and pry off the clip that holds the lock cylinder to the door sheetmetal, voila, lock pulls out. There's a little spring loop-de-loop deal which allows double-lock to take place. Without a lock in front of me it's hard to relay just what goes wrong, but basically the spring becomes detatched in a way that it prevents you from returning to standard lock. Took a pair of tiny pliers and 2 seconds to fix... oh, and don't test it with the door open, the car won't lock that way. Don't ask me how I know.
Good luck man.. . .
