Oil pan gasket replacement/ subframe drop

So I was wondering what is the easiest way to do this/ and just confirming I have to drop my subframe, and how I lift my engine from the subframe. Or if anyone has any tutorials. Thanks!

    Here are some pics:

i've never done this job myself but i did watch it done. the guy only unbolted the passenger side engine mount and jacked the engine up a bit. it was tight but it did come out. you need to reach up in there after the bolts are out and unbolt the oil pump before you drop the pan i believe. messy job. let the oil drain all night if you do it. makes it a lot less messy.

No need to drop subframe. I used a lift to bring the engine as high as it can go, unbolted the mounts obviously. Plenty of space to take the pan all the way out. The hardest part is undoing the six bolts on the bellhousing.

seems like dropping the subframe and its what, six bolts would be …easier… than separating the motor from the transmission.

I've read about people loosening the motor mount bolts to the point where the motor is still aligned with them but you have room to lift the motor up, then you have to remove the oil pan and also unbolt the pump and its pickup tube (for clearance) and take them both out. The hardest part is getting the oil pump back in. This way you leave the subframe in the car

If you got a g260 there is 3 bolts in the bell housing
