    M20 Factory Oil Cooler Question

Like many M20 , mine came with the factory oil cooler in the front, well , my main question is, exist a thermostate in the out let oil lines? if so, can I take it out with out lowering the press or something like that?

I would like to run the oil from the start for better cooling....

    Thanks

It may be possible to take it out, but you DON'T want to. The thermostat exists for 2 very important reasons, 1- to help the car warm up faster (a good thing) 2- to keep the high pressure, cold oil from bursting the oil cooler when you first start the car when it's cold.
