    Power Steering

Okay, I have a '72 mustang and my old power steering high pressure line had a hole in it. I replaced the hose and filled it back up. For some reason it's really tough to turn the wheel, so I went to the return hose and bled it. Not sure if I completely bled it, but we tried two times. Still same results. I was just wondering if anyone knew how to solve this problem, given it's not exactly an E30 or anything, but I'm sure they are similar in this area. TIA.

alright this may work for you.

fill up the resiovor with power steering fluid (NOT ATF), turn the wheel lock to lock, and then re-check fluid when the engine is off and top up. the turn the wheel completly to the lock on the left and shut off the car, and let it sit for 15 mins. re check the level and there you have it it should be bleed for sure now. if its still though you may have a weak pump or a worn steering box.
