    Coolant reservoir mount height

Does this need to be at a certain height relevant to the radiator?
I'm guessing minimum fill line should be the maximum radiator fill amount?
I'm putting an m20 into a m10 car which ... apparently didnt have a res.

Like the M42, I believe the M10 had a tiny radiator with a built in tank. I'm not sure if anything is in the way for you, but M20 cars have the tank just in front of the driver side strut tower (as seen below).

yeah, the late models have it there as my 91 m20 does. all the others have them mounted in various locations on the passenger side but i was just hoping someone knew a technical explination.

my project car does not have the mount hardware and i want to locate the reservior in a convenient location but idealy further towards the rear of the bay.
