HELP - this is a stupid question but still

now i think its just me but i have an ix and my clutch cylinder is bad (the rubber piece on it over expanded or something and i need to replace it) bottom line air is getting in the clutch system through this part

now is the part called a clutch master cylinder or a clutch slave cylinder...

i thought it was called a clutch slave cylinder and that there is a brake master cylinder and i get the too confused??

im on napaonline.com and they have two parts, two prices, sig diff from each other..

if someone could lemme kno here that be great

The master is on the pedal, teh slave is on teh transmission. The hose runs between them.
