Inlet heater hose install

I need to swap out my inlet heater hose but I'm not really sure how to get to it. It seems to be buried next to the firewall. I can't get my hand in there to install it so I don't want to take the old one off yet. Any tips or advice would be helpful.

its really not alot of fun to get to - If you cant get to the hose clamp from the top to loosen it then the intake manifold has got to go.
