Turbo M42 with M20 flywheel conversion, what clutch??

Turbo M42 expected to make around 190whp/180wtq. Upgrading from the stock dual-mass flywheel to a lightened M20 single-mass. Now I need to decide on a clutch.

The car will be weekend driven. I don't plan on doing much tracking, if at all. Just need it to hold up to sporty street driving. I'm thinking an organic stage 1 clutch will be all that I need or want. Thoughts?

Also, would love to hear any of your reviews of the following brands:
    - UUC
    - Exedy
    - Clutchmasters
    - Spec

Finally, will I need anything else than the following to do the single-mass flywheel conversion:
    - M20 flywheel (lightened as to avoid using a spacer)
    - 323 throw-out bearing
    - clutch kit

Do I need a different starter?

    Thanks in advance!

I would just use a stock OE M20 clutch. Guys are putting 300+ HP through them without problems and there is no way you will be making that with an M42. Sachs is OE I believe.

You also don't actually need the 323 TO bearing. The stock M42/M20 TO bearing will work. You just need to use the spacer behind the flywheel. This works better anyway because it aligns the ring gear with the starter better. See here:

You either need a late model M20 starter, or you need to swap the pinion gear on your M42 starter for an M20 one.

You also need shorter flywheel bolts. M20 ones are the correct length.

Don't forget to get a new pilot bearing. There were 2 sizes depending on the year of the car. The transmission input shaft is either 12mm or 15mm. Make sure you get the correct one for your transmission.

Search on M42club.com. There is a lot of talk about the conversion there.

        I have the following:
        - M42 flywheel spacer
        - M20 single mass flywheel
        - M20 flywheel bolts
        - stock sachs OE clutch & pressure plate
        - M42 TO bearing
        - late model M20 starter which bolts up perfectly

You should totally fine with OE M20 clutch and pressure plate. I'm going to be using that on my car for a little while until I can get a better one. But I'll also be clutching kicking and abusing the s**t out of it.

You should only need a late model m20 starter (which I have an extra one of if you want), m20 flywheel bolts, and I recommend putting the spacer from the m42 dual mass flywheel behind the M20 flywheel, you just need to drill out one of the holes a little bigger to fit it over the dowel pin of the crankshaft. You can still use the 323 TO bearing with the spacer but it isn't necessary.
