Windshield Wiper Transmission (not motor)

I need to replace the wiper transmission, in order to do this, will i have to take out the Heater Blower motor and housing? Or is their another way to get to the wiper transmission (not the wiper motor).

Only way to do it is as you have described. It is a bitch to get out - getting the replacement in is easier.

If the old one is junk, do yourself a favor and cutoff the wiper arm studs - it will make removal easier.
