Oil Leaking from Oil Pressure Sensor?

I think my oil pressure sensor or whatever it's called is leaking oil. It's the sensor that is right under the oil cooler/ filter housing that has a one prong connector to it.

Anyone know the part number and name for this? The leak is getting bad so I need to fis it ASAP.

12611710509 should be it, its the one with the push on connector and not the spade connector.

So Auto Zone actually had one in stock or was it Advanced Auto Parts? Everytime I go to Auto Zone unless you drive a Ford, GM or Honda Civic they don't have any part in stock.

I don't know if they have O'Reilly auto parts stores over in TN, but I got one not long ago at our local store for $8.00..............The model with the snap on connector that is.

I found the part at Advanced Auto because for some reason the Auto Zone close to my house never has anything in stock.

From what I can tell it requires a 22mm deep well socket.. the only problem is I can't get any of my 22mm deep wells to go all the way on because of the tight space against the engine block.

What did you do and/or use to get yours off Ely?

I think there's a special tool for that too. I just used a 15/16 socket (impact because it was all I had at that time). Worked like a charm...........

well the one we got at autozone was a 21mm deep, we just picked one up at autozone when we got the sensor. I thought at first it was 22 but it wasn't. Or take a grinder to your socket to remove some material.

I'll double check when I get home this evening.. otherwise I guess I'll have to buy one to fit it.
