Need help: Sport Seat Disassembly

Hi guys,

I'm disassembling the sport seats in my vert to get them ready for refurbishment. I cannot figure out how to get one of the knobs off the side of the seat.

The knob is circular, on the door side of the seat bottom, and when rotated pushes out the front of the seat under your thighs.

Anybody know how to get this knob off? I've tried pulling/prying it but it's stuck on there... does it require more force or is there something I'm missing?

You have to use a lot of man-muscle on it. It just pulls straight off.

Now I cannot get the seatback tilt lever off ... sigh
