Hey guys I'm new to bmws, I've got plenty of years of mechanical experience and I've built plenty of Hondas but I just traded a del sol for a fixer upper E30. Aside from obvious paint work it needs seals on the motor, I know it at least needs a head gasket and I've got a complete seal kit coming from Napa (head gasket, intake, exhaust, valve cover etc) but it doesn't have a timing case seal. Attached is a picture where it's pouring oil out of, it's coming out right from where the red arrow is where the block touches the aluminum. Is that the timing case? Or is it just a sneaky head gasket?
