Idle begins surging and then car dies

    I had this same problem and it turned out to be my idle air control valve. If you simply just disconnect the air intake from the idle air control valve and clean it with carb cleaner it should help, the valve can get very filthy and can sort of get clogged.

      There is this two sensor near the back of the distributor ... change it ... it is very cheap...bought mine from autozone... fixed that surging problem... i just don't know which sensor is that... Coolant Temperature Sensor?! it is a 2 prong sensor that solves my surging and starting and dying problems...
