    E34 question...

So, I need to purchase replacement suspension components for my dads car. He has that (from what I hear, common) problem where when brakes are applied at any given rate of speed, the front end violently shakes. Pumping the brakes have been a good temporary workaround, but its just stupid now. I forget what the major thing was that caused this problem...

    Idler arm?
    Upper Control arm?
    Lower Control arm?

and which one of them is available with the upgraded 750i bushings?

    oh he has the shimmy.

do a search at bimmer.info for tons of posts. i think its usually the control or thrust arms. also a lot of the guys are going polyurathane for the bushings now. last longer than even the 750 ones and it wont stiffen up the car too bad either.
