Do E30 iX's Share The Same Chassis As Normal 4-Door E30's?

Wondering if 4-door E30 iX's share the same chassis as standard RWD 4-door E30's?

I was thinking there might be a difference due to the drivetrain.

    Thanks,

      Are you 100% sure?

I thought there would be a difference, as there would need to be extra room, especially up front, for the gearing etc to power the front wheels.

The strut towers are also different. Relatively yes they are the same, but they do have differences which make them not identicle in all aspects, like the tunnel and the front shock towers.

The shock towers are setup for 0* caster, and there is an extra lump on the side of the transmission tunnel for the transfer case. You'll notice it in the driver's footwell area.
