Silly question-- how do I take the brake ducts off the valance?

I looked behind the valance, and it seems that there are these green rings filling the holes in the valance, and the brake ducts have plastic knobs that fit into those green rings. I tried sqeezing them, but I can't get them off without feeling like the plastic is going to snap.

On the front of the valance, on the side with those clips, get a screw driver and carefully pop them out.

Just do it carfully, and it should be fine.

That - or get something skinny, like a philips head screw driver, and pound them out from the backside. ;)

Seems simple enough, but it feels like it's ready to break. Same with the grille insert in the middle of the lower part of the valance.

Mine felt like they were going to break when I pulled them off. They didn't.
