    Cold start issue

    Hello r3v,

Long story short, after leaving the car seating outside during the weekend I started it today (30 degrees outside) and started idling weird and eventually it died/stalled. (Refer to video, I'm using tapatalk, hopefully it uploaded correctly. )

It's done it before and what I end up doing is maintain RPM with the gas pedal and basically drive off and after a minute or so of driving it doesn't stall. After it fully warms up I drives fine.

Thing I know is bad: bitch tube o-rings oil/vacuum leak.

Any recommendations would be greatly appreciated.

    Car is a5 speed 1987 325IS.

    THANKS in advance.

Sorry, we couldn’t find that page

Fix your vacuum leaks would be the first priority.

Thanks for the suggestion. Once the weather gets better I'll start by fixing the vacuum leak. I'll report back.

Mine did that after I did the penny trick to bypass the ICV. Now when I start I have to hold the down the gas pedal a little so it idles above 1k for about 10-15 seconds depending on how cold it is. After that it idles fine.
