Jump start the car with wrong terminal connected

So I forgot to turn the lights off the other day and my battery died.
My neighbor last night came out and helped my jump the car.
However, he connected the cables to the wrong terminals on his car and we noticed that when the jumper cable burned.

After that, we switched to a new cable and connect to the correct terminals and my car started and ran.

Just wondering what kind of damage can be resulted from this? So far, I noticed the Anti-Lock light came on.

I tested the lights, AC, and radio. They seemed to work fine.

Are there anything else I should be aware of?

    Thanks!

    My car is a 1988 325i Convertible.

You fried the ABS relay under the dash to the left of the steering column. Other than that, you may have gotten lucky.

Thanks. I am going to order the switch.
What are the other potential damages?

Your ABS may be under the dash. I am still trying to find mine.

Is this the right part? Mine is manufactured 01/88.
