    plug differences (Bosch)

I remember reading somewhere on this board that Bosch W8LCR and RW8LC are different plugs, even though at the Bosch service center I visited they seemed to think that the latter was just a renaming of the former, both being the same exact plug.

If they ARE different, how are they different?

I ask because I'm running RW8LC's and they're fouling like anything.

I wasn't even aware there was a RW8LC. That's strange, it's just a rearranging of W8LCR. Bosch USA's website doesn't even show that part number.

I searched for 1989 BMW 325i, and W8LCR's come up, but not what you listed.

      Oops! My bad...

It's supposed to read WR8LC and W8LCR. You'll find that both of those bosch plugs exist.

Ok I found some info while surfing... WR8LC is the supposed 'updated' version of the W8LCR. BUT, the 8LC has a .8mm gap while the LCR has a .7

Does a bigger gap than OEM make starts harder? And how about cold idle?
