    CEL on keep driving E30?

My E30's CEL came on while driving today. The car runs well just has a bit of a rough idle and takes awhile to get up to operating temp. It looks like most of the codes it can throw are emissions related or aren't too serious so can I get away with driving it for the next couple weeks until I get it sorted out? Just rebuilt the top end so I don't think anything ca be seriously mechanically wrong. Trying to source a 173 DME so I can do a stomp test because I can't do it with my 153.
    Thanks!

It shouldn't hurt anything. IIRC, there's only a few things that will kick that light on ...

    Air flow sensor malfunction.
    Oxygen sensor malfunction.
    Coolant Temp. malfunction.
    Throttle positoin switch malfunction

If your car is running, none of these will harm it - but fuel economy and performance may suffer a bit.

I think most e30 owners drive with the CEL on. Lol

Only US cars had them if that tells you anything.
